Our Story
Our story began with a single mother's dedication in 2015. Rasheda Vitali, inspired by her son's yearning to return to home education, embarked on a mission to create a learning environment that resonated with her child's needs. This commitment blossomed into a hub for cooperative, strength-based, and family-oriented learning. Eventually known as Camp Vitali (R) in 2019 when Rasheda and Lindel married; then evolved into CampUs Vitali in 2023, our roots have always been anchored in nurturing the whole person – children and adults alike.
CampUs Vitali's growth from a small Jamaican initiative to a collaborative effort between an American and Jamaican home-educating family has been a journey of passion and purpose. With our expansion in Nevada, we're extending our reach, offering a unique blend of activities to a new community. Our approach transcends traditional boundaries, fostering a nurturing space for all family members to learn and grow together.
Parents at CampUs Vitali are more than facilitators; they're integral to the learning process, while working in cohesion with CampUs Educators; with many parents joining as learners themselves. This inclusive environment has attracted a diverse group of families, inclusive of traditional learners, who were not otherwise home educating. Compelling us to expand our offerings to after-school and Saturday programs and now, academia.
As we embark on this new chapter, our commitment remains steadfast: to provide an environment that promotes holistic development, experiential learning, and empowers every learner. CampUs Vitali is more than a learning space; it's a community where every family member finds their place to flourish.
